Programme Focus

The event was designed to:

  • Equip parents with practical strategies to encourage the natural use of Tamil at home

  • Support the use of Tamil during daily interactions and familiar routines

  • Strengthen students’ confidence and comfort in using Tamil beyond the classroom

Participants

The programme was attended by Primary 3 and Primary 4 students and their parents, who actively participated in a range of Tamil language–based activities. These activities created a supportive and engaging environment for families to experience Tamil together.

Programme Facilitation

The sessions were facilitated by Tamil Language teachers who were recipients of the 2024 Most Inspiring Tamil Teachers’ Award. Their guidance and expertise enriched the programme and provided participants with meaningful and authentic language-learning experiences.
