We welcome innovative programmes and activities that broaden and enhance Tamil Language proficiency among students and other Tamil Language users in our multicultural society.

These initiatives should foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Tamil Language, literature, and culture among participants and the wider community.

Types of Programmes Supported

Proposed programmes and activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Competitions

  • Workshops, courses, and seminars

  • Publications

  • Performances

  • Learning journeys

Target Audience

Proposed programmes and activities may be tailored for:

  • Students from preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, junior colleges / centralised institutes, and institutes of higher learning

  • Tamil Language teachers

  • Parents of students across all education levels

  • Non-profit organisations, schools, institutes of higher learning, and Indian Activity Executive Committees (IAECs)
